Is online crypto-gambling a complete scam?

FinanceDeck Wizards May 4, 2022

Crypto gambling sites are not rigged. The decentralization nature of blockchain technology makes it impossible for any individual or group to control the network. Crypto-gambling is now a real thing, with countless projects and startups coming in this sector.

This phenomenon has been mainly attributed to the recent rise in popularity of Bitcoin, which has lead to an increase in demand for crypto-gambling platforms as people have started showing interest in cryptocurrency by investing more time reading about it and talking about it with their friends.

Though crypto-gambling is not "rigged" per se, the games are designed so that the casino, or, "the house", mathematically has an edge over the player at all times. This house edge can range from 0.5% to more then 10%. This means that, in the long run, the casino will always win, and you will lose all of your money.

There are plenty of legitimate crypto-gambling sites, but, for the reason listed above, we do not recommend online gambling at all. There can also occasionally be a crypto-gambling website that is flat out cheating, but, those can be avoided with a bit of navigation. If you do decide to gamble, please do so responsibly.
